A lot of us don't take the time to be appreciate the people around us and all that they do, instead we focus on all the negativity in our lives. I dedicate this poem to anyone who it is applicable towards in anyone's life. Thank you for being someone who cares Thank you for being there when things get tough Thank you for accepting me at my worst Thank you for supporting me when times were rough Thank you for being my crutch when I stumble Thank you for lending me a hand when I fall Thank you for being something constant Thank you for giving this friendship your all Thank you for being my voice Thank you for showing me I'm okay how I am Thank you for being my blanket Thank you for actually giving a damn Thank you for being my tissue Thank you for always lending an ear Thank you for giving me courage Thank you for the laughs that dried up the tears Thank you for being my pillar Thank you for being there for support Thank you for not making me feel like a burden Thank you for making me a priority, not last resort Thank you for being my safety net Thank you for being understanding Thank you for every time I complained Thank you for not being demanding Thank you for each thoughtful gesture Thank you for every last present Thank you for saying you love me Thank you for being the only one who meant it Thank you for every time you checked on me Thank you for your stupid smile Thank you for telling me things would be okay Thank you for being worth the while Thank you for all of your strength Thank you for the way I know you've endured Thank you for all of your guidance Thank you for not letting this friendship detour Thank you for ALL that you've done Thank you for EVERYTHING this poem does not say Thank you for NEVER giving up on me Thank you for ALWAYS being the one to stay -Scott Vukelic |
