hemingway afternoons, tails out shirts
and slow dirt too lazy for dust
just laying around on wrinkle wood
waiting to be artwork recycleing
a footprint perhaps from your funny shoes

you used to have those dove sounds around you
when you were contimplating adultraside
and you hated the feelings of confusion
especially with all the studying you did
but not reading between the lines much

until I wrote you poems on your palms
and kissed between your fingers one afternoon
out of a million other afternoons
that I wanted the rest of the story
and I guessed you did too but wouldn't cross

against the blinking red hand with a ring on

Daark,

I think every woman who reads your poems would love them to be written to her.  You just have this way about you - and your poems reflect this part of you well.

Love this one lots.

Well, she wouldn't engage in adultaside ( I love that!) she was an honest straighforward lady and wore her heart on her sleeve, pardon the cliche.

I'd just relax now..Rest the Hemmingway way...... Ya foller....

Now he lives in the islands, fishes the pilin's
And drinks his green label each day
He's writing his memoirs and losing his hearing
But he don't care what most people say.
Through eighty-six years of perpetual motion
If he likes you he'll smile then he'll say
Dark Stranger, some of it's magic, some of it's tragic
But I had a good life all the way.

Take care

Eric
