.

How strange
That rain
Should come
To this desert land
And flowers
Bloom

Of course
You know
I want to
See you
Again

In truth
Even now
At this
Improper hour
I’m really
Unwilling
To let you go
For fear
You’ll disappear

How suddenly
Easy to be
In company
As I sit here
Listening
To you carry on

It’s all
Your doing

While I can feel
This erstwhile
Solitary man
Begin to change

though apparently intensely personal, I find this one cool write...love the part that spoke of that "erstwhile solitary man" and makes me wonder just who this Jill might be...don't know how I missed this earlier...Merry Christmas...thanks for sharing

Sometimes it isn't a weakness but just a longing...
