Everyone in the hood
knows Bones,
and what he does.

They’ve know Bones
since he was a little baby.

It’s not unusual
for a kid to be like Bones
here in the hood.

Ozzie and Harriett don’t live here,
and never did.

Ozzie and Harriett are throw-up city.

Bobby

Dear Juli,

I mean I used to watch the Ozzie and Harriett show, and its praise of upper middle class America, and it always made me sick to my stomach--probably because I couldn’t relate to it.

It was totally remote to me and the way my family lived.  It made me feel bad.

Love Bobby
