The Whimpering Forest.

A traveling soul,
Dancing amongst the cosmos,
Veering atop an abandoned tomb,
Frozen under the blizzards fury,
A tear traveled south into the old mausoleum,
The fog divided and raised toward the moon,
A scent of history escaped upward swirling around the stars,
A theatre of time unfolded to disclose,
The brilliance of the color that once was,
The gray had vanished into the night.

A sphere cut away from the ground,
And a tree sprouted through,
A giant oak filled with leaves of souls,
It had eyes of opal,
And braches ablaze with rage,
The tree let out a trembling thunder,
It had spoken of doom,
And provided with visions of desolation,
Fear had strangled the sun,
And darkness now recaptured the animated,
And once again the forest has died.

The Whimpering Forest

Ray,
A name, yet who is Ray?
