Sqeeeek! I opened up the door and poked my head inside.
I told my daughter "flutterbutt" its where I used to hide.

I whispered "it's not haunted, but spirits do reside".
I didn't tell her demons too, but felt it was implied.

These halls hold many memories of times I laughed and cried.
Its a place filled up with generous souls in whom you can confide.

I could never measure all the love these hallowed halls provide.
"I didn't know life hurt so much" she quietly replied.

I smiled at my little girl, full of emotions still untried.
Glad I finally got the chance to be ...
a Passions in Poetry guide.

Remember me with a smile on your face, or please don't remember me at all.

How special that a mother and daughter can share a wondrous place as Passions in Poetry.

I loved your quite cleverly constructed poem Lucie, a joy to read.
