weeping tears of discontent
spread like summer fires
in mountain stands of trees so tall
no fountains feed their thirsts at all

fresh-settled raindrops of remorse
fall and course down sifting streams
like phrases o'erflowing banks of thought
no phases of regret are ever taught

sprinkling life's lessons with pearl-sized gems
of wisdom's sages by passing ages
as writings measure life in longings sweet
no sightings do themselves repeat

the tears, the drops, the sprinkled dew
within, upon, the heart of those who do

weep the tears of discontent
and know what raindrops of remorse have meant

"no phases of regret are ever taught"

This is so true...we are taught the phases of love, of death, maybe even forgiveness but never how to process regret.

Enjoyed this...albiet saddened a bit.
Gotta love those smileys...

remorse and regret
bitter pills to swallow
best to forgive
the errors of the self
and not judge so harshly
or life will be miserable,..yick to that
great words of contemplation youve written

Remorse and regret must be teaching tools.
Fine writing here.
