T'was the night before Christmas, Wee Elf lay in bed,
Soundly asleep, Wee prayers long since said,
Wee Elf was dreaming, of the gift he'd receive,
Delivered by Santa, this cold Christmas Eve,
Perhaps a play station, or maybe a Wii,
A Wii for wee Wee, how cool would that be?
While far, far away, down U.S.A. way,
Santa was working, aboard his red sleigh,
Going down chimneys, carrying his pack,
All full of presents, slung 'cross his back,
From Georgia to Texas, Nevada to Maine,
Leaving Barbies and gameboys, a Lionell train,
Then back in the sleigh and off to Aruba,
To leave Suzy a doll house, and to Mikey a tuba,
Across the equator down Uruguay way,
Leaving plenty of games for the children to play,
Then Asia and Europe, Australia, Japan,
Santa's a whirlwind, a travelin' man,
One present left, for someone named Tim,
A big lump of black coal, Santa Claus left for him,
Then back to the North Pole, in a near empty sleigh,
One present remaining, before Christmas day,
Into elvin dormitory, and under the tree,
Santa placed a wee present, a Wii for wee Wee,
Then Santa whispered, “Merry Chirstmas wee friend,
Now I'm going to bed, so this ode's at its end.”

Yo Tim,

Don't feel too bad, everyone can use a big lump of coal.  It'll keep you warm.

Nice job on this poem, I like it a lot.

Thank you for not making me come typing after "wee elf" this year, and oh but you're clever.

A Wii wee elf!

(put me on the list

you deserve an award for using these three words in succession, if for no other reason:

"A Wii for wee Wee, how cool would that be"

...the whole thing was a classic...very nicely done

Cool write...just think, though, if we find other resources for energy your lump of coal may become an antique and appreciate in value!

Nice tight rhyming scheme through the whole piece.

If you could find a few others that got a piece of coal then you could have a ....coalition......
Just trying to be helpful

Tim got some coal? Oh Please Say it's not so!
for Tim to get coal while all others said whee!
Santa, be ashamed, for Tim's not to blame!
Someone sent a bad note, must have been wee Wee!

Tim I loved your light hearted Xmas post my friend, but I think Santa was a bit mean leaving you only a piece of coal. I suppose it could have been worse. enjoyed.
