     November Redemption

As ominous storm clouds
swallow a wan and timorous
late-November moon,
on this cold-heart night
of exhausted thoughts
and dissolute dreams
that dispirit the lost and
tangled mind…
the very first snowflakes
begin their tentative
  dance
to blend with the whistling
  winter wind
in a grand-visual symphony
of the soul’s redemption.

There's a storm on the way here and this poem fits my mood perfectly. Today was a very gray day, the perfect day for homemade soup which I have cooking on the stove as I'm writing this in hopes that the soup, and the friends I invited over to help me eat it, will cheer us all up.

Wow, this is truly magical, dear Bruce!

Nothing brings more peaceful feelings into my heart than the silent, elegant dance of snowflakes.

November Redemption indeed!

Love,
Margherita
