I am missing my Mommy today so I thought I would write to her..   these are my thoughts.. (she passed away in 1992)

I know you’re around me
as I go about my day
I still hear your laughter
and the warmth from your smile
reminds me you are
never far from my heart
I imagine there would be a proudness in your eyes now
as you watch me grow and become stronger with every challenge
I know your angel wings will protect me forever
and I will love you to eternity
but some days I just long for you
to hold me close
just like today...

Ah, dear Roniece, this holds your beautiful heart's expression of eternal love and deep connection and I can relate to your longing. Every now and then the physical nearness is so badly missed, it hurts intensely even after many years. My own Mom went home in Jan. 1993, but she too is with me like yours with you.

Love and hugs.

This is so beautiful, Roniese. It made me cry. I'm sure your mother loves it.

Yo dear RDB,

My mother died back in 95 at age 83.  She was kind and wise, and she was good to me.

This is a good poem, I like it.

Love Bobby

so beautiful and so telling...love this part for what it is:

"but some days I just long for you"...to be held, to be loved, to be longed for...whatever life sees fit to fill in the blank thereafter...just lovely...

Dear Roniece - Beautiful words for your mum.  I'm quite sure she is with you and it's so good to "speak" to those who aren't physically with us anymore - for our sake and for theirs.

Dear Roniece, she will be looking over you for sure my friend, love does not die, it lives inside of us and around us forever. You are indeed protected and looked over by her and surely many others. It's lovely to smile with the happy memories, so great that we can. Have a wonderful day Roniece and do take care.
