Residual Conceptions

This conception . . .
mirrored,
in absence of touch
regulates the minds embrace

~ offering ~

visible hopes
between action
and the contemplation
that boundaries
no longer exist
unless . . .
we mortar the first brick
against a measured initiative

~ obtaining ~

Proficiency
laced in literacy . . .
built upon a plateau
of awareness
leaving a residual desire
to acquire
a new conception

~ reflected ~

in the eye of notions
churning
deep within a heart
yearning for the challenge
of another victory
in repose
to even an even higher mesa

~ pondering ~

Is it the shores
of the oceans
we navigate
or the journey,
that entices
our senses

Wonderfully profound write. And I think it is the journey "that entices our senses".

Very refined as always!

Mark, this was my favorite, as it leaves the reader space to ponder and reflect.

I'm not sure... cause if we're very lucky, it's both. *S*

Your words definitely do... this is fantastic!

amusemi - Was just a thought.  Thank you.

steavenr - If it left you thinking that is a good thing.  Thank you much.

Bill- Thank you kind sir and always nice to have a visit from you.

Margherita - I know for me it is the journey but I have to admit the curiosity of the shore also holds it's own in some respects.  Thank you much.

Midnitesun - We all need that space at times and I do thank you.

Ruth - As do your bread and butter chips.  Thank you much my "suthern" friend.
