As all the delightful memories come crowding over me
I can only thank god for letting me enjoy them for so long
I cannot imagine the day when they will be no more
And with his will, I hope to continue to embrace these blissful moments
But if it is not his will then may I find internal and eternal peace
When the day does finally arrive that I shall rest my heart and soul
I ask to depart this earth with the satisfaction and joy
Of these pleasant memories that taught me to cherish life.
