Shivers of whispers
Half thought half dreamt left unsaid
No weapon given

No heart to tread on
If you don’t know it is yours
No wounds to inflict

Eyes that cry no more
No pleasures will you gain there
Your words sharp as blades

Watch as this love dies
Bled out from a thousand cuts
From lips meant to kiss

Live with you lonely
Far better to be alone
Than scarred forever

And yet you say you love me
