November Gray
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

November winds and somber haze,
~The dampness and the rainy days,
Are momes of gray that lie between,
Winter's white and summer's green.

I actually love November It's been anything, but gray here.  It was in the 70's the other day!

We haven't had any rainy days.  But then again, we hardly ever do.  But the shades of gray have been there--and you captured November's in-between here, very nicely.

And yet I bet you are charmed by this shade of gray too, that's why you found these beautiful words to be recorded by your magical pen!

Dear Linda, I love your November Gray!

And the picture too, it must be cozy inside there ...

This has good rhyming and works well, but it is like a teaser trailer, I wanted more dammit! This would have been a great starting stanza to a poem going through the dark days of winter into the resurrection of spring  *hint-hint, push push*

In our part of the world, November and February are generally considered the bleakest months of the year weather-wise. With temps like you're having, there is too much sunshine to have S.A.D. ~ Seasonal Affective Disorder! lol

Greetings and salutations!
November showers seem somewhat bleak in comparison to the showers of renewal in the spring. Mind you, I enjoy all the seasons. I am grateful that where I live, each one is distinct from the others and I anticipate each and every one!

Have a happy November!

Today is the day of which you write! I have spent most of it walking in circles or snuggled up on the couch reading. I just can't seem to find any energy and that's okay.

I loved this and will keep is as a reminder of days like this and you, my friend.
