    Life's Fine Intent

I have become but
my shadow's shadow
at Life's far-last
  corner
in a Winter world
of discord, ruin,
  and discontent,
where even the stars
have flown away
with the final birds
  of Summer,
and only dark wolves
  remain
to stalk an unforgiving
  night
of unforgivable failings
beyond all the fine
  intent.

(((Bruce))) I think you are in need of a warm hug and I am sending it. Life's intent is to make you happy, but when you are in this melancholic mood, life unfolds accordingly.

Of course this is a refined beautiful poem, dear Poet, despite the dark wolves lurking.
