Bones never cries or screams.
No matter how much clients
hurt him,
he remains stoic.

He learned early on,
that crying and screaming
can get a client all worked up,
and they will hurt him more.

He’s learned to maintain
his facial expression
to show no emotion
what-so-ever.

His eyes are completely dead.

Even when he’s not working,
he never smiles,
or shows  any emotion.

Bobby

Sad.

Some people fall in love and touch the sky, some people fall in love and find quicksand.

Thanks Paul,

Thanks for your concern for Bones.

It is sad, and a protective mechanism.

The worst thing is that he never smiled, dear Bobby! We can overcome the worst things when there are also good times, but without love and justice and any kind of compensation, it means apathy and therefore death. Extremely sad. Such things should never happen to children. May your writings contribute to a new awareness.

Love,
Margherita

Thanks dear "M",

For the huggies.

I'd try something along the lines of "It shouldn't happen."

Thanks dear RDB,

For your concern for Bones.

Remember, there's nothing wrong with stoicism’s indifference to pleasure or pain.
