Moving On We have had our moment and we have had our fun But circumstances stopped this from being considered as “The One” I felt that I had lost you, I watched you slip away As our bond began to diminish, to disappear more and more each day We talked about a future, together, you and me Now it seems so foolish, because it was never meant to be You opened up new doorways made me discover feelings new Encountering hidden sensations when I was alone with you You’ll always be a part of me, a piece of my heart that’s yours to own Still sharing memories that can bring a smile, within the months to come You deserve to be happy, to move forward don’t look back To walk with head held high not stooped facing every crack Although it’s now over, don’t think my feelings will fade All I can wish is your happiness, in the decisions that you have made |
