I’ve parted the curtains better able to see
and cut from the ears my crowning glory
but this no means to again attune mind
to the wonder of two in love entwined.

It must be the bear down of gravity
or the turn into my decreed destiny
or maybe the fact of your disavowal
or plain and simple unawareness.

Be one, both, or all but I am undone
or done with an assumed sixth sense
for assumptions unfounded a death
when embroiled in the world of mortal flesh.

So harkens this one who can now hear
to the truth of what the eyes now behold
for all other truth is but conjecture
based on perception of tenuous facts.

But tenuous facts still kick up their heels
and dance to the tune of personal needs
and it’s like they seek to entrench themselves
in one now dead to conjecture.

So they dance, big deal, everyone can
when attuned to the wonder of two in love
but manna from heaven like reality
softly and gently unseen bears down
to finally stop the music of need.

All is quiet, all is still, but yet I can feel
the rough edges of manna from heaven!

An interesting question to ponder, when two are thrown together are the feelings real or just a thin excuse of "love the one you're with."

Interesting write.
