Because it rained—

You didn’t
Get along
With your mother

Your father
Was too strict
Or lax  The cat
Got sick the dog
Ran away

All your friends
Were idiots  The men
Jerks the women
No better

Because
I was happy
Without permission

It was the weekend
It was Monday  
There wasn’t enough
Sugar in your coffee

It was red
Instead of blue

Face it
It would have been
Something someday

It being only
A matter of time
