Tramp
Tramp
Tramp

And now
All I hear
Are legions
Marching

Ever
Toward
Your door

just another insane tyrant
but such that happens to cruel leaders
he should not have
squandered his people's money
should have left his sister Drusilla alone
and not placed his horse in the senate
(which may or may not be true)
and his own men wouldn’t
have assassinated him
as he was leaving the coliseum unescorted
after dreaming of a big toe

sorry a history buff
but we should learn from our past
but instead we keep repeating it

John,

Oh yes, the little boot.  One of my favorite Romans--mad as a hatter.

This is an excellent history poem, I like it a lot.
