Tribal Stories

~*~
Grandmother and I
sit around the tribal fire,
telling stories of long ago.

A night to remember,
--when she was one with Mother Moon,
while dancing to tribal flutes.

--Soaking up the star light,
stomping the dampened earth;
with bare feet.

With baying wolves surrounding her,
she rose up into the ebony night
and joined hands with spirits of the wind.

Grandmother and I
sit around the tribal fire,
telling stories of long ago.

Tales worth Telling.

This piece has such a textural feel to it, and stimulates the senses worth remembering.

Enjoyed!
