rapacity

the voice portrays a
woman's character
which permeates each
executed expression
with pretensions of
aimed captivation
thus his heart and soul
excuses rapacity

I think you do "get it."

It is a play on the theme of the Siren. (or any woman with a purpose I suppose)  A siren's goal is to capture the man with her mere utterances, thus the man then can easily excuse his selfish, excessively greedy desire to possess her.

Thank you for taking the time to read me and respond.

And thus... he is held captive. You have a way of doing that! I like that about you. It's so nice to see you here Janette.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Larry C - you always leave the dearest or most surprising responses, which makes it so fun to hear from you, thanks.  And ... [HUGS] back at you, too.

Artic Wind - how-do-you-doody to you too, and nice to meet you.  And many thanks for the clapping!
