Bones can’t quite get over it.
For his whole life,
he’s never really had a friend.

Oh, he’s had people
that he called friends,
but they really weren’t friends.

They were people
that rented him for a while.
He hated them.

Then he discovered Griselda.

Griselda actually likes him,
for just being him.

She is his first real friend,
and he loves her.

Griselda was a precious gift in Bones' life, some sweetness in too much bitterness. Good to learn that he knew the emotions of his heart and was requited.
