This day,
this number on the calendar,
has been standing in line
between yesterday and tomorrow
patiently waiting
to pass through my life
like the shadow of a dream.
As the day draws to a close
it will draw a new wrinkle on my face
to create the illusion of time
and within minutes now
it will be gone.
Though I will not know where it went
...or why.

Very profound, dear Ida. Being aware of the moment, which is the only time we really have, doesn't exclude our wondering ...

This Day, this moment, we are connected and I send you a big hug.

Love,
Margherita

There really is only the here and now, today.
The sun is up and there is beauty everywhere I look.
The Good Lord is generous with her gifts.

Thanks for this, Ms. Madness~

Dear Ida, time marches on, something we can't avoid but there is something wonderful in every stage in our life and it is up to each and every one of us to make the most of life's stages as we go along, and enjoy them as well. love to you dear lady.

This was really nice and fleeting, like the mark of time...

"The Moving Finger writes, and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,

Time keeps marching on,
It moves through us like a cold wind,
And ours will be gone long before we’re ready,

You have to make time,

To take time,

To enjoy the time you have made.
