sudden breath overtime, and the countdown begins as lights flash in fervent haste on monitors of life pushing, pulling, needles in and tape applied blood flowing through clear rivulets of strife stat, stat, stat, and the doors swing open wide mouths agape while life hangs by a thread precursor to eternity, threshold to agelessness drifting between being and being dead a number, just a number...numb, just numb a time, a place, a scheduling for occurrence a lonely soul in a distant place of being causation clamors to concurrence thoughts misplaced by nods of rage as pressures rise like methane gases stretchered patient unstretched by calamities lines undrawn as time just passes hope flails as faith assails in sudden breath overtime |
