She stares into the distance
looking for the truth of soul
and angels, fairies, witches, gnomes,
and foreign entities.

The sky is clear, there’s no despair,
or inner anxiousness
and yet a thick and heavy haze
o’er lays her scenic route
and she stumbles lost and weary
in the middle of it all.

Suddenly the sun
but, of course, it’s only love
shining through discrepancies
between what’s seen and felt
and she finds her way again
for a moment more-or-less.

Sometimes more and sometimes less;
moments are eternal gifts
and our choice to maximise or shrink
each moment that we live
but of choice she knows to let it lie
with angels, fairies, witches, gnomes,
or foreign entities
in accordance with belief
as to their validity.

She chooses angels now today
for angels are the truth of soul
when vision and emotion
fly together hand in hand
in the creative consciousness
of every human being.

But it’s Sunday and she’s lost
for a moment more-or-less!

... her choice of Angels makes me nod.

May the moments of sunshine/love stretch into hours and make you feel good, dear Helen.

Wonderfully written piece.

Love and hugs.

Roniece - thank you.  I think most of us can smile through turmoil and breathe through it.  Aren't we a completely fantastic creation?

Margherita - Thanks and I guess feeling good is a state of mind and one which I have chosen.  It works very well except when someone is threatening my life and that of my son.  At times like this it helps to believe in karma.  He will get what's due to him!

Love
Helen

Thank you, dear Lori.  It could be that I write for you on a Sunday because I always think of you when doing so.  Your term of "Lady Sunday" has stuck with me for some years now.

Thank you all so very much and AC - I don't like Sundays much either but I do know each day is how we make it and I try my best to be grateful for them.  It's a challenge I've set myself.
