Autumn Night Wisps of misty dreams and memories, hang suspended in the cool and lovely Autumn-evening calm, as moonbeams and shadows play among the pines and dance across this woodland stream... under a perfect ebony star-cloaked sky. The idea of the suspension of dreams on the mist is lovely. That and the distant bells at the end evoke the wistful beauty of autumn. |

thanks to all who have commented on this and/or my other 'writes' (perhaps far too many?) ... as I seriously contemplate hanging up the pen ... 'poesy' (like all other 'magic') is but grand-fine 'escape' and illusion ... lost to a world of hard reality. |
