Pianissimo

the

rain

fell

like piano notes
a lullaby in
a major minor
right laced ivory
past middle c
tapping at glass
afraid to be free
sharp flat black
softly slid
from tunes
in the air
liquid composition
of sound
in magic noise

"no darkness has ever been deep enough to extinguish my personal knowledge of love"  Anne Rice

Words and concepts and sounds, drop by soft drop, note by note flowing into each other, becoming each other in this exquisite rainword musical composition of yours.  I hear it still.
