Bones doesn’t worry
about stock market crashes,
or Republican recessions/
depressions.

He’s below all that.

He never had anything
to begin with,
and still doesn’t.

He’s comfortable with that—
well, you know,
as comfortable as he ever gets.

His business of scavenging
old air conditioners,
and selling the copper
and aluminum parts
is doing well.

Bobby

We used to do that when we were young to make money.

Thanks dear Ida,

Yes, this one was inspired by two kids across the alley here in the hood that are into that.

I'm sure he's not Robinson Crusoe in that respect Bobby, he'd have a lot of mates.

"scavenging" is one thing but stealing the metals today is another...

Though I understand Bone's actions in the past.

Thanks dear M,

As far as I know, no one is stealing anything.

The biggest thiefs these days are the CEO's of Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac.

Millions of dollars to cook the books and get off scott free, while putting this country into a panic.

Well done.

Just to let you know, Bobby, they have been stealing copper from  homes being renovated and aluminum and other metals for the last 2 years around this part of the country,  including manhole covers and street lamppost poles turning them in as scrap for money.

Thanks dear M,

Yes, people do that here in Philadelphia too.

When I was a child, burning the insulation off copper wire stolen from abandoned houses was favorite winter time pastime.  It kept you warm, and made some money.

We used creosoted ties we stole from the railroad as fuel.  It made us smell bad.

I don't do that anymore.

Love Bobby
