The future isn’t mine to see
but I can think how I would be
given a scenario
of two in love entwined
and this I hold as a backstop
to the truth of love not here.

But a backstop must disintegrate
and be as if it never was
to enable a withdrawal
from the soul of love
and not stand upon the pendulum
a speaker of what surely is
a deep-seated fantasy.

I raise my hands; what can I do
but leave the words for all to know
I once upon a time ago
thought to think of love.

I think to think to not now think
for thoughts can’t hold my hand
or still this woman’s restless mind
that travels in her sleep
to a future that’s not mine
to see, to know, to feel.

I leave the words and take the leave
due all who need to be undone
from all thoughts of love!

Sleep on your left side with your right foot higher than your heart.
Listen to your dreams.
Talk about new perspectives.  OHHH yehh.
Looking forward to your new writes.

The answer is always NO, Until the question is asked.

Tracey - I'm leaving with a smile thanks to you.  My son left one of his earplugs at my home (he's a musician) and he told me to use it when I sleep.  Whew - left side down, right side up, and which side for the earplug?

Oh, and I wouldn't mind "listening" to my dreams but it's the "feeling" of them that puts me off balance.

I've no doubt, however, that I'll be back. Nothing keeps a storyteller down - not even the dreams but I need to catch my breath ... and that's another thing - deep breathing is like a vehicle that shoots the mind into another land.  Nothing for it but to stop breathing!

Thanks for the read.

Dear Helen, you yourself are LOVE, love isn't something separated from you. It is your essence. It is not in the future or in the past, it is NOW. You are so to say a "product of love". You lack no ingredients of love, you only lack the awareness of being love. Breathe, beautiful poetess, breathe and be conscious of breathing ...
earplugs are irrelevant to the perception of love ... bring peace to your hyperactive mind and breathe.
Breathe life, breathe love.
Love and hugs.

You read my mind so many times, Helen
