Genetic memory flowers
and blossoms in our cells
creating designs of our being
from seemingly identical, twinkling lights
but each little light holds the key,
that forms the pattern,
for what was and what will be.

A very beautiful thought, dear Ida. I love your poetic touch to the astonishing scientific facts.

Love and hugs.

Ida,

I am glad that you have the DNA that you have if it is what makes you write as you do.

I like this one, but I like all of your poems. It's just how it is.

Yo Ida,

DNA holds both light and darkness.  It's a constant battle.

What a delightful slant on DNA, Ida!  I enjoyed all the responses, especially Alison's and Bobby's.
