Close your weary eyes and visualize

the finest primeval earth clay,
silken-smooth pastel mauve,
moistened 'till it slides sensuously
between curved fingers,
before slipping slowly
into awaiting open palms.
Feel your muscles relax,
all tension and stress fade away
as the calming creamy clay
coats anxious pores
with Gaia's healing energy.

Immerse your spirit
in a deep-time mauve moment,
and become one
with the
Universe.

A perfect and wonderful word accompaniment to a deep meditation, dear Kacy.

Words to immerse in ...

This is a soulful poem. I think we should choose more time with closed eyes and earthy dreams

In theatre, mauve stage lighting is often used to suggest sunset -- Mauve Moments evokes the peace & stillness of that time of day.
Beautifully written!

My walls are painted mauve...just because it has this soothing essence.

(It tends to change colors with the light, too.)

and yanno? You keep finding my favorite things to write about it!

I like communication with the elements, clay is one of them and its qualities are peaceful and good to share...lovely words.

"Immerse your spirit
in a deep-time mauve moment,"

I seem to do that a lot lately or rather it seems to do it to me.  Good advice you give for all who seek peace.

As a 'Universalist',  I must love this effective 'penning'!

I am especially fond of the beginning and ending of this fine 'write'!:

"Close your weary eyes and visualize
the finest primeval earth clay,
silken-smooth pastel mauve...

...Gaia's healing energy...

Immerse your spirit
in a deep-time mauve moment,
and become one
with the
Universe(!)"

serious and sustained applause!

Yo Kacy,

This is very descriptive.  I can't imagine having one of those.  However, I suppose it's okay.

Lately, I have been driving a 1990 Firebird painted...metallic mauve.

For some reason, when I drive it and even when I see it parked in the sun, it makes me smile.

...as did your poem.

Thanks.
