With Yours Alongside Mine

The many chapters of you and I
Which began in ninety six
Looking back through memories
Its been an emotional mix

Remembering once upon a time
How our friendship started
Sharing those like minded views
It was fun and light-hearted

Having shared so much together
Over the past twelve years
Pages we penned heart to heart
Through laughter and tears

This is how our loving heartprints
Withstood the test of time
They remain on chapters written
With yours alongside mine
