this is a continuation of another poem by the name of Hammond Eyes, but because of a foul word in the latter poem, it had to be posted in "Insight",hehe...
-------------------------------------------------

I want to see her laying breathless
The fat moon's glow coloring each strand of hair
I want to see these things tainted on me
But I know it ain't polite to stare

Come, smokescreen mirror
Give me something I can use
I'm tired of sitting cross-legged, wondering
Why you can't get something without feeling abused

I'd like to keep each stranded needle
Fallen off love's cactus stack
An' sow each word with meaning
Without ever having to look back

There's a golden morning somewhere
Somewhere there's a golden morn'
Just 'cause a man's life's been stolen
Doesn't mean he's ever been born

An' through the mountains he'll go searching
For the life he's just jotted down
An' he knows it may take forever
To know you can't trust what you never doubt

and he knows it may take forever

I enjoy how you create descriptions and have to go find your other poem now.
