I was bringing everything together
welding at work
with tungsten invincibility
and stainless steel intentions

my pocket vibrated
“Huge disappointment.
there’s nothing else to say.”

and I felt guilty again
so I burned myself on purpose
on my still hot
stainless steel intentions.

Yo Viking_metal,

Don't burn yourself.

And be careful not to breath too much inert gas.  That Argon can turn you funny.

I've read this a few times, and I know that I love it. There's more that I think, but the implications of divulging that would say more about me than the poem. *winkie blush*

You've got an interesting style, here.

Love it.
