I cannot

will not

give you
what you
want from me

Only a taste

just enough

to keep you

hoping

I have
something
to offer

It does seem a winning strategy, but well ... love should never be a strategy, just a free flowing gift.

But we are all caught up in this game, too often.

Well said.

Are you afraid you don't have what they want?

sorry, I am personalizing...men tend to only give me pieces.  took me forever to realize it was because they just didn't think they had anything else to offer...

I love reading you, don't know if I have told you that before.  But I do..I just don't respond a whole lot.
