She's a "great" granddaughter alright
and I don't mean to brag
but Karina told me "the secret",
let the cat right out of the bag.
She said, without any maybe,
"I'm going to be a big sister,
my mom is having a baby."
Ah, nobody delivers the news
like a four year old.
When my granddaughter got to the phone,
the secret had already been told.

Congratulations on the news of a forthcoming
addition to your family.   I bet it was a precious moment when she let the secret out of the bag.  I can just imagine the beaming eyes of a new-to-be big sister!  Enjoyed your enthusiastic poem.

Such a nice, warm full-of good-things posting.
I can only add my own good wishes on such a happy event
