Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2008-09-11 10:25 PM

catch my breath,
release it into your heart,
warm love allows it to expand,

My soul dipped kiss,
remains a stain,
pressed into your memory,

My thoughts, your thoughts,
my eyes, your eyes,
my heart, your heart,

Take one whisper of,
"I Love You"
wrap it around me tight,

So I can dream,
a thousand dreams of you,
never to awaken .

I am especially fond of:

“catch my breath,
release it into your heart…
allow it to expand,”

and:

“Take one whisper of,
"I Love You"
wrap it around me tight,

So I can dream,
a thousand dreams of you,
never to awaken.”

applause for this Romantic 'penning'!

Some poems that don't have ryme, don't catch my attention as much.  This one did.  I loved it. Beautiful expression.

ARH - beautiful, I especially like:

"My soul dipped kiss,
remains a stain,
pressed into your memory.."

Very ..um...expresive, I can feel it...

I rather like this but I am sorry to admit, unromantic soul that I must be, I found it difficult to read the script and so I lost the flow. I managed it after a few attempts and, as I said, I enjoyed the sheer romanticism of the work.

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

loved this exquisitely exotic phrase:

"soul dipped kiss"

your words are beautiful
