         In Awe

I live on the edge of the canal
impressed by Monet’s water flow
upon it’s naked skin colors glisten
a dark jewel mysteriously lovely
in stained glass constant motion
moving me in dancing reflection
that holds me breathlessly in awe

"no darkness has ever been deep enough to extinguish my personal knowledge of love"  Anne Rice

Monet was probably the impressionist par excellence. He is best known for his obsession in trying to capture the perfect impression of water lilies.
Well done 1slick_lady in capturing the verbal impression of the visual impression.

Makes me want to see the painting and the waterfall.  I imagine they both have a lot to say if you listen.

Well now, this just makes me want to run downstream nekked then through one of our own waterfalls, yes it does!  Beautiful!  Who knows maybe one day we can all meet at a stream with a waterfall somewhere and push Karen in!

. . . and I am in awe of the beauty and peace that you, along with Monet, have painted.

Take a bow, lady! This is gorgeous.
I've no doubt it would have made Monet smile.

Monet had a gift with color that is most vivid in your word art.
Lovely write Helen.

That 'stained glass constant motion' really holds me.  I've read it through three times just for the vision.
