Cloud Scaping

The morn brought upon us ...
thunderous roars,
a showing of strength
from the southern shores.

Storm clouds were shaping...
the after of dawn,
with the beginnings of stirring
from a night of withdrawn.

Freeing the raindrops...
from the high of above,
releasing to cleanse
thoughts harboring love.

For the lune of the moon...
behind cloudscaping view,
brought the somewhere in time
to those moments of you.

In this poet's corner...
dreams hold their own,
to be challenged by words,
upon thoughts lined on loan.

M

Thank you WT,  I am in PA so we were getting some residue from Hannah...a terrific lightning  show in the morning.

How absolutely beautiful, dear Maureen! Love your words, as well as the picture!

Love and hugs.

So very lovely, Maureen.  I hope the lightning display wasn't too frightening.

Watching a storm - from a safe position - is an exhilarating  experience. Nature constantly reminds us that she is more powerful than anything we can produce.
This is a well observed poem.

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Thank you, just the remnants of a storm in an early morning display.

Beautiful thoughts raining down from your pen in this one and ...

Well that is it exactly isn't it?

Thank you Owl.

Mark, that is exactly how it is. These words written by others  are loaned to us line by line to either  encourage us, cheer us up or comfort each other.

Again, so nice to see you here.
p.s. I always wondered about your picture and if you work with animals...not knowing the story behind it
