Bones and Wawa
are good friends.

They’d do anything
for each other.

However,
as it is with all good friends,
they sometimes fall into disagreement.

Bones asks Wawa for a “fair one”.

A “fair one”
being a fight
with just fists,
no knuckle dusters,
black jacks,
or any other
type of weapon.

Butch is there
to make sure everything
is copasetic.

He searches both boys
for any hard and unfair objects.

Butch takes both their knives,
just for safe keeping.

Wawa is way bigger than Bones.
He beats the kid to a bloody pulp,
leaves Bones face all messed up.

After the fight,
Bones and Wawa
are even better friends
than they were before.

Bobby

An interesting way to get rid of frustrations and clear the air.

very good read...I had a fight only once in my life, I was a teenager who didn't like to be mocked and I fought a guy in a street...I won and was so surprised he came shaking my hand after the fight...Male psychology can be surprising...Thank you for the very accurate poem enjoyable as always...

Thanks dear Owl,

Yes, it's a method that usually works.

Thanks Yann,

I'm pleased that you won your fight.  What you say is true.

I saw my brothers fight with someone one day and be friends the next day while I was still angry over their black eye etc. That's just the way it is.

Thanks dear Ida,

Guys seldom hold grudges.  Doing so can be deadly.

Love Bobby
