They rattle their cages,
talk of change
and country first.
As if they have,
or will ever have,
any power or control.
Meanwhile...
The true rulers
hold their secret meetings,
wield their ancient power
and surreptitiously
determine the fate of the world.

Yo Ida,

And that's the way it should be.  It's worked for a number of years.

Such a gem of wisdom, marchmadness.
Which ever country we inhabit, those elected are only the puppets of the unknown faces who truly decide our fates.

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Dylan Thomas
