A better life they call it
A chance to help her grow
Being passed around a lot
No place to call home

This tiny beauty
Was born 4 years ago
She didn't know it would be like this
With nowhere left to go

From foster home to foster home
When will all this stop
This 4 year old girl will grow you know
And wonder what she has

Right now she is joyful
A smile on her face
A friendship like grace
When this girl becomes a women
She'll want to leave this place

Hush little girl no more anger
You're almost done with this hunger
Listen to what I'm saying
And help you through your strif

Here life is with open arms
To hold and protect you
If you need someone to love on
I'm here to help you make it through

No more tears falling from her eyes
Staying up holding that pillow tight
There's nomore silence from her voice
No sarrow in her stares, just happy glares
She's just a 4 year old in foster care.

Yo MexicanLover13,

Yes, that's the way it should be.

I wish the kid well.
