Random Acts Of Love You never know where or when They may come and strike you down They could be lurking ‘round each corner The most unlikely places might be found. When you might least expect it And from who knows what to do And though some may not believe it When it strikes, they’ll know it’s true. Because those random acts of love Don’t run rampant on the street Though when it happens to you You’ll find new feelings, so sweet. It may come as a gentle touch Or in a very special look Maybe in love words spoken Or some, written in a book. It may have the smell of roses Or the taste of vintage wine And like a painter’s masterpiece It will withstand the test of time. In the simple act of giving it You’ll get as much as they receive And if you’re one of those doubters Give it a try, then you’ll believe. For, with those random acts of love You will never fall from grace And in the eye of the beholder You will always have a special place.
