I see your eyes every morning dawn
as the sun seems to go down
and something else takes it place
in my day dream place
next to some other smile
that you gave me with a kiss that time

you know I wonder about your sounds
if you still pretend you are afraid
and swallow hard before whispering
that you really love the silk there
around your wrists like scarves
but wish they were tighter fitting

so you couldn't give excuses to leave
