Into the grey
we digress

shed
of the neon
of color
and the peripheral
black
to confine us

we drift

like corks
on wild waters

struggling
for destiny
and heart's validation
of that kiss left to die
on the breeze
of last summer

and i wish
i could daydream
and smile
with your eyes
in my mirror
of memoirs

Soft melancholic poetic breeze.

So beautiful.
