The Snow

The snow gives birth
to a gurgling stream;
her child ventures forth
to find it's own path
through stones and earth,
laughing!

She vanishes,
leaving her essence
flowing gently
in clear mountain streams
and her children become
a mighty river.

I have always appreciated the winter and it's cleansing that it gives the earth.  I really enjoyed reading your view in this area.

YES !     ::smiles::

(((WindWalker)))

I may not always reply...because I often do not know what to say... but...  I always read and am always touched in some shape, form or fashion.   You are one of the ones I look for.
Now...  stop feeling (((spayshel)))   and get over yourself.    ::smiles::    Good luck with that

'Nature'ally written by a divine poet! You not only observe Nature, you feel Her and become at one with Her. Your God-given talent is being put to very go(o)d use!

I agree with Linda, I think I like your poetry so much because you have a special bond with nature and express it with  such beautiful words.

We all love nature (well, most of us anyway) and this is a little gem of observation that encourages us to love it more.

This 'write' captures the essence of many
places in the 'front Ranges' of the Rockies; etc.

I especially love the beginning:

"The snow gives birth
to a gurgling stream;
her child ventures forth
to find it's own path
through stones and earth,
laughing!"

applause for this 'penning'!
