Forever,
wasn't mentioned often.

Regardless,
forever didn't seem
to last very long.

It's over now

"The Thrill is Gone"

There is only the
waiting...

to see which
one will leave...
physically.

Mentally,
they are
seperated

Emotionally,
there has
been a death.

Or two

Randy's eyes
first fell upon Christine,
as she laid between a bush
and a landscaping beam,
near the entrance to The Raven.

Christine first
noticed Randy
after she had
staggered back inside.

She helped him
escape the booth
he was trapped in
and washed away
the green beer, red wine
and black beauty puke
that dripped from his beard.

They spent the weekend
vomiting on one another

Years flew

It's over now

Food Stamps
help them sustain
their bodies, but
there is no money
with which to feed
their heads.

"The Thrill is Gone"

Their common
interest in and
dedication to
self destruction,
kept them together
for years

How the hell could
they have known
it wasn't Love ?

It felt like
Love
at the time.

How could they
have known that
they would still
be alive ?

It felt like
Death
at the time.
