Rain,
And something found
Between drops
Against
Earth and skin and both the
Ground and I belong to
This moment….fully given and
Received in an act of grace
Known holy and ancient to
Us all.
Something found and once
Lost to time and time
Again.
And now…this moment of
Between -
Falls against
Me.
And I remember briefly what the
Ground has always known.

Life awareness is very vivid in this piece and I liked the way the whole thing just flowed so smoothly. It reads even better when read aloud.
