          Dreamscape Time

The world is Dreamscape transience
teased by the ice moon’s indifference...
(cold light playing the form-shifting
   shadows)
where none may command even the
   stones to stay,
when a million years whirl away
with the winnowing whims of wind,
  water, and time...
and nothing stands
but the certainty of change,
and emptiness of all human
  plan and promise.
